" It is truly remarkable what we have been able to accomplish by bringing together our partners both locally and federally to focus on these crimes against children."

-Greg Seabolt; Randolph County Sheriff

"Since January we have conducted a total of 18 operations, made  114 felony charges, and have uncovered 3 instances where a subject had a hands-on victim. And we’re just getting started. "

Captain J. Trogdon; Randolph County Sheriff’s Office

"So often we think the focus of investigations is to arrest a perpetrator, and that is a focus, don’t get me wrong, But the primary focus is to be able to identify and prevent victims because these crimes affect our most vulnerable population, our children."

Ray Dawson; Founder of the Invictus Project

"Literally you are seeing history being made, this is the first of its kind in North Carolina where we have seen a collective effort like this to create this task force."

-Kevin Roughton; North Carolina SBI ICAC Commander

TO ENSURE OUR WORK CONTINUES

RIGHT NOW..

There is a war being waged against our children—a battle for their innocence and childhood that most people never see. In the shadows of the digital world, predators are systematically targeting the most vulnerable members of our society, robbing children of their innocence and stealing their childhood in many cases before it even begins. Meanwhile, the very people sworn to protect our children—law enforcement agencies and community organizations—often find themselves outgunned in this fight. They lack the specialized resources, advanced training, adequate staffing, and sufficient funding needed to match the scale and sophistication of increasing technology and these criminal networks.

THE SOLUTION

THE MISSION

To partner with law enforcement to combat the sexual exploitation and trafficking of our children. This is a partnership that prioritizes the victim and ensures perpetrator prosecution.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

The Invictus Project, as a nonprofit organization, strengthens the Task Force by providing supplemental funding for technological solutions and investigative support. This enables law enforcement to conduct both proactive and reactive investigations with an unwavering victim-centered approach.

THE IMPACT

By equipping law enforcement partners with specialized tools, resources, and training, we bridge the gap between community support  and law enforcement intervention. The Invictus Project provides critical support including advanced hardware, software, training programs, and operational funding—dramatically increasing law enforcement's ability to identify victims, rescue children, and apprehend offenders.

THE RESULT

An integrated defense system that protects vulnerable children while ensuring those who steal innocence face the full force of justice.

Protecting Childhood, Pursuing Justice.

The Invictus Task Force is a specialized multi-agency coalition uniting the Randolph, Alamance, Davidson, and Forsyth County Sheriff's Offices with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI). This powerful collaboration enables coordinated efforts across jurisdictional boundaries where predators typically operate.
