Pursuing Justice.

Operation Cursed Cupid was a four-day multi-agency undercover investigation in February 2026, based in Nashville, North Carolina, that targeted online child predators. The operation resulted in 16 arrests and over 80 charges, including solicitation of a child by computer and attempted statutory rape. 

OPERATION OUTCOMES

  • 16 individuals were arrested.

  • More than 80 criminal charges were filed, including solicitation of a child by computer, sexual battery, attempted statutory rape, and firearms violations.

  • Those arrested ranged from 19 to 87 years old and included individuals in positions of trust.

  • Suspects believed they were communicating online with children under 16 years of age.
