Operation Ghost Wire was a two-week, multi-agency sting conducted by the Invictus Task Force in North Carolina from October 13–24, 2025, resulting in the arrest of 23 suspected sexual predators and the rescue of four children. The operation targeted individuals soliciting minors online and downloading child sexual abuse materials in the Piedmont Triad area.
OPERATION OUTCOMES

The Invictus Task Force's Operation Ghost Wire was conducted from October 13 - 24 in Alamance, Randolph and Forsyth Counties, resulting in the arrest of twenty three individuals who either traveled with the intent to engage in sexual conduct with a minor, solicited sexual conduct from whom they believed to be a minor child, and/or were uploading or downloading child sex abuse material.
